 - The Koala is a marsupial which is a mammal having a pouch like a Kangaroo.
 - Interestingly, this adorable animal, unlike other famous marsupials, has a pouch that opens downward and consequently, its joey also faces rearward.
 - While it appears to be fluffy and comfortable enough to replace your bed mattress, the wool of a Koala is quite coarse like that of a sheep to insulate it from the elements.
