This unique weird-looking Australian duck-billed monotreme has been mounted on a rock to allow for a sturdy display.

Many photos were posted on social media of our local wildlife trying to survive and find a new home during the recent floods in Queensland, this is a museum-quality replica of our cut unique animal.

The platypus and its closest relative the echidna are Monotremes -which are the only representative of this group left surviving among the marsupial so Australia.
