Pax Romana (or the peaceful two centuries in Rome amid a conflict-ridden world) was credited to Augustus Caesar, who had various names before being known as such. He was Octavius from birth until 63 BC, Octavian when he was adopted in 44 BC, and Augustus when the Roman Senate gave him such a name in 26 BC.
Augustus Caesar was known for his administrative rule as opposed to his military genius, since it was under his rule that order was imposed, various infrastructure developments were realized, and entertainment for the great masses was established through amphitheatres.
Although he did not claim the title, Augustus Caesar was Rome’s first emperor. Julius Caesar, his great uncle, named him as heir when Augustus was only 18. While his rule was characterized by peace in Rome, his road to being a ruler was less than peaceful as he developed allies and adversaries with Mark Antony, one of Julius Caesar’s generals, as a notable example.
Two centuries of peaceful Roman rule and all of its glorious Roman infrastructures can be recreated in any space with this Bronze Aluminium finish of Augustus Caesar. The fibreglass material and Bronze Aluminium finish perfectly meld to give it the timeless element, which displays in detail this emperor’s features, including the beautiful breastplate.
