Channel 19th Century with the Charles Dickens Bust
The Victorian era cannot be discussed without Charles John Huffam Dickens being mentioned. Born in 1812, Charles Dickens was an influential British novelist known for his works which flourished in the 19th century up to now and include A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, A Tale of Two Cities, and Oliver Twist among others. He is remembered for depicting clearly the underclass of the Victorian era and for contributing to achieving social change in his time with his great works. He was also a journalist, editor, and illustrator.
Many of his novels have been adapted on screen and plays like A Christmas Carol and Nicholas Nickleby. This bust is not an adaptation of his novel but is an adaptation of the great novelist himself in a spectacular roman stone finish that highlights in lovely detail the image of Charles Dickens with a small inscription of his surname near the base.
