Ox is a male bovine that belongs to the Bovidae family. Breeders castrate oxen at birth to make them docile and less dangerous in comparison with a bull, making it easy for them to train an ox to become a draft animal. Unlike other farm creatures, we haven’t heard much about this humble beast, but for centuries, the ox has been a trustworthy companion of every farmer and breeder in the field.

The ox is not as fast as the horse, but because of their close to equal agility and strength, most farmers prefer an ox over a horse to aid them in their heavy farm workloads. Ox has a more robust body than a horse, is not easy to get sick and very easy to train and will survive at very low-cost maintenance. Don’t you think this mighty beast deserves shoes too?
