Sun Bears are small, tree-dwelling bears who live in tropical areas. Our life-size sun bear sculptures are realistic replicas of these rare but beautiful creatures. Unfortunately, deforestation and illegal hunting have made Sun Bears a vulnerable species.
Did you know… Sun Bears are found in the forests of Southeast Asia and their long claws make them excellent tree climbers. They are the smallest species of bear, averaging 25-65kg in weight. They are called sun bears because they have a golden crest on their chest that looks like a rising or setting sun – each bear’s crest is unique.

We wish to respectfully acknowledge with honour the First Peoples of our Mother Earth, our ancestral elders of this ancient country of past, present and future who are the traditional custodians of all states and territories where we live and work. We acknowledge their continuing living spiritual cultural heritage, the sacred connection to land, sea, sky, community, country and all living things.
