What To Love About Cherubim

Did you know that the chubby male baby-looking creature with gorgeous white wings is called a Cherub? The group of cherubs is called cherubim, They might be small in size and look very innocent but they are servants of the divine, a symbol of purity and love yet known to be adorably naughty at times.

In Biblical references, Cherubim are adorable angels of God, they serve as messengers, guardians and protectors, but most of all, they help people stay away from sins and draw them closer to God.

In Roman mythology, a Cherub is called a Cupid, depicted as the son of Venus, goddess of love, and Mars, God of War. Cupid’s appearance is similar to a Cherub, an angelic baby male toddler with wings holding a bow and arrow, and they are associated with romance or falling in love. Most of us know the story about falling madly in love with the next person you will see once shot by a Cupid’s arrow.
