Giant Red-and-White Mushroom Shade
The Fly Agaric is a red and white mushroom popular in fairy tales. It is called such because, in most countries where it is found, they break the cap into bits and mix it with milk so that it can lure and kill flies. While it is photogenic, the mushroom is also a hallucinogenic that is toxic to humans since it is found to inhibit neuronal activity. Some say that is why Christmas reindeers were pictured in stories to be flying. Even though these stories add more magical elements to it, the mushroom remains an icon of fantasies.
As a tribute, here is a 2.5-meter tall Giant Mushroom shade that heavily resembles the infamous fungi with precise attention to the white flecks on its cap, the slight shred on it for audience impact, the intricate gills inside the cap, and all the details on its white stalk and the patch of green ground for its base. Wake up underneath it on a slow summer afternoon and you might forget how you fell down the rabbit hole.
