The Horae of Four Seasons

Drawn from the timelessly famous Greek Mythology tales, Horae, is a group of goddesses that controls the earth’s seasons, natural phenomena and time. The four radiant goddesses, “Eiar”, the spring goddess, “Theros”, the summer goddess, “Phthinoporon”, the autumn goddess, and “Kheimon”, the winter goddess, are the Horae of the four seasons. These goddesses are known as the daughters of Sun-God Helios and Moon-Goddess Selene and the four handmaidens of Hera.

Eiar, is the benevolent goddess of the spring season and the personification of peace which is her main function. According to tales, Eiar became very significant to the people of Athens when they won the naval fight against the Spartans, they believed that it was the peace that brought them to victory.
