Born in Stafford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, Shakespeare was a poet, actor, and arguably the greatest dramatist to have ever lived. His works include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, and The Tempest, among many others. Little is known of his exact birth date but young William is said to have a record of baptism on April 26, 1564. It is not only his birth that is hazy but also his marriage, his exact debut into theatre, and all these supposedly significant details in one’s life.
