Eira is the personification of the spring season and peace. According to old tales, Eira, the benevolent goddess of spring became very significant to the people of Athens when they won the naval fight against the Spartans, they believed that it is the peace that brought them to victory.

She is described as the goddess who has a crown of flowers on her head while she was holding a bunch of flowering shrubs in one of her hands.
