Run! This Allosaurus is not amused.
Allosaurus in history
The Allosaurus said to have existed in the latter Jurassic Period or around 150 million to 144 million years ago, is pictured to have about 70 sharp teeth with lower jawbones that bent externally to clench on its prey. Its hands had three fingers that formed a claw measuring nearly 20 centimetres. Its large skull possessed a rough ridge above its eyes but this skull was also quite flexible. An Allosaurus grows up to 1050 centimetres in length.
Fossils and whereabouts
The carnivorous dinosaur was discovered through fossils in Western United States, Africa, and Australia but is now making an appearance in this 189-centimeter-tall fibreglass replica at a nearby educational or commercial facility. Beware therefore of its powerful claws and jaws as it could haunt as much as entertain any individual.
