This Giant Earth Spike was built to a height of 12 metres and it was concertinaed into a 20ft container in 3 sections to allow for easy shipping. The top quartz crystal was cast in a clear fibreglass laminate and illuminated from with a rotating colour of the rainbow.

This magnificent Giant Earth Spike was a custom job commission to be displayed as the main entry statement to the themed attraction “ESCAPE!” situated in Singapore. Natureworks built the entire Earth spike in our Highvale workshops, designed to replicate natural naturally occurring earth, Spike. See our photo references.

It was constructed in lightweight fibreglass and carefully hand-painted to show the natural texture and features of natural crystal rock. This Giant Earth Spike was built to a height of 12 metres and it was concertinaed into a 20ft container in 3 sections to allow for easy shipping.

The top 2m quartz crystal was cast in a clear translucent fibreglass laminate and illuminated within which displays a rotating colours of the rainbow. The main body of the rock shard incorporated rising red sequenced escalating strip lights in the vertical cracks of the deep corners of the columnar jointing. The piece was made as a one-off sculpture in fibreglass over a galvanised steel armature. We have retained the mould of this spectacular quartz 2-metre peaked “crystal” shard.

Clear coat finish or a heavy duty gel coat finish is recommended for all products that will be used outside, to protect the finish. See product care guide
