This fibreglass hippo sculpture was used at Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s safari-themed water playground.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s new waterhole cafe and play area

The NSW Government and Taronga Conservation Society Australia have created a world-class tourism and conservation facility. Central features of the water play area are Natureworks’ adult hippopotami, hippo calf and elephant calf spraying water.

The African-themed Waterhole play area at the zoo in Dubbo is a real highlight of the Zoo experience and allows people the opportunity to cool off in the warmer months.
