Fibreglass Spanish Bull in Bronze

While others think of bullfighting as a sport or others protest over its treatment of the animal, in some parts of Spain they think of it as a choreographed dance like ballet. The bull is symbolic of strength and aggression which is characteristic of its muscular build compared to cows, the female in their species of cattle. Many matadors have become famous for engaging in bullfighting. The activity itself tests the strength of the bull and the skill of the matador hence the spectacle over it.

As a tribute to the bull for all that it stands for, this fibreglass sculpture that is life-size has been crafted. Many have encountered it and surely, the brave bull has also impressed upon the lives of these persons and so a classic bronze hue is appropriate to immortalize the bull and to highlight its brawn, mighty horns, and that austere stare. It would find meaning being in a minimalist space of white or earth tones like against a garden backdrop as it is weather-resistant. Like the animal for its power, this sculpture is durable but is reflective of the culture and history that it has been a part of.
