The Brahman Bull
The Brahman Bull or Brahma came from the “sacred cattle of India”, the Bos indicus cattle, which are known for their big hump on their shoulders and neck. Brahma’s loose skin is said to help it adapt to hot weather by providing it with more surface on the body for exposure to cooling. This quality makes the Brahman Bull a popular choice and is often for sale among beef cattle-producing countries such as Australia, Argentina, and Paraguay. It is also ideal for cattle because of its easy handling and natural ability to keep insects away through the scent of its oil secretion.
