This Angus bull looking to his left looks quite grumpy but in truth, his breed is described to be good-natured, silent, and calm. Originally from northeastern Scotland, the Angus cattle, otherwise known as Aberdeen Angus, are polled which means that they do not have horns. Angus beef is a popular item on most menus since Angus produces high-quality beef and it accounts for a majority of commercial cattle worldwide. Its beef has wonderful intramuscular marbling fat that contributes to its taste and generally, the beef is beloved for its superb tenderness, meat colour, and texture.

Perhaps the brash stare of this bull sculpture is also a silent cry for it not to end up on the dinner plate with mashed potatoes. In any case, beef producers definitely consider the Angus breed as a top choice for production. Some of them also engage in crossbreeding programs aside from having purebred ones to develop more of their flavour.
