Ally’s Kindy entry statement
Ally’s Kindy near Ipswich needed an entry statement to help to put them “on the map”.
So Natureworks thought that a Giant cute alpaca might do the trick.
When Ally’s little visitors come and stay for the day they are greeted by Ally the giant alpaca – recently been described as a bizarre giraffe/alpaca/human hybrid with a stylish bob – (landofthebigs.com) – considered the Wackiest BIG THING in Australia 🙂
In Production
We started by studying their logo, which incorporated a cute alpaca, then proceeded to replicate the trendy hairstyle, the pretty face and long eyelashes, making this larger lifesize sculpture of their logo. Our cartoon character-friendly alpaca would amaze and relate to the children.
Instead of recreating the entire alpaca at an enormous height – we used our giant 18ft high giraffe, gave it a new paint finish and attached the huge head to the giraffe. We included an internal slot-together piece to allow for easy transportation. Once in place, it slipped into the body and became a unique Ally’s Kindy Alpaca – not available anywhere else in the world.
Ally stands in the driveway and can be seen from afar. Friendly “Ally” the Alpaca now greets the children at the entry of Ally’s Kindy every day.
