Nanny Dog English Staffy in Brown

Not all kids enjoy having a nanny, especially if she’s scary. But having a “nanny dog” is a different story. The English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, also known as the English Staffy, is a popular nanny dog because it loves being around children. With proper training, this breed can also make an excellent guard dog. Its unique appearance, with a broad head, strong jaws, and short snout, is a result of its breeding from the Mastiff, English Bulldog, and English White Terrier.

Many pet owners in Australia have an English Staffy, and one particular dog has been immortalized in durable fiberglass. This statue of a sitting Staffy looks eager to play fetch and has impeccable details on its paws and fur. It stands at 55 centimeters tall, even though the real dogs usually only reach about 40 centimeters in height. The statue is muscular, just like the real thing, and would make a great addition to any home. You can use it to guard the house from the porch or decorate the foyer to show off its adorable qualities.
