Fibreglass Procoptodon Short faced Kangaroo
A large short-faced kangaroo, one of 4 species of giant pleistocene kangaroos, the largest of which was procoptodon goliah which grew to almost 3 metres.
Short-faced kangaroos were common in Australia until about 20,000 years ago. They had a short snout, forward facing eyes and highly mobile arms. Their front limbs had two long fingers and their hind foot had only one toe.
Natureworks are proud to now have this fibreglass procoptodon pusio with joey to add to our collection of extinct megafauna.
