Birds

Natureworks have sculpted a large range of birds in many poses. All sculptures are crafted in high detail and finished to museum quality. Unlike their taxidermy equivalents, these replicas are pure art without the problems of endangered fauna or illegal trade in protected wildlife skins.

A wide variety of bird sculptures are available, including:

• Water birds such as brolgas, ducks, flamingos, jabirus, pelicans, seagulls, spoonbills, swans, and penguins.
• Farm birds such as chickens, roosters, turkeys, geese
• Birds of prey such as eagles, hawks, owls
• Australian native birds such as kookaburras, emus, cassowaries and cockatoos
• Lots of other birds such as magpies, crows, parrots, bower birds, ostriches and beautiful peacocks.

Where bird sculptures can be used

Our bird sculptures fly off to many places! They appear in locations ranging from nature parks, museums, playgrounds, childcare centres, farmyard themed displays and hotel foyers through to domestic interiors and gardens. 

We have created giant bird sculptures for business promotions and entry statements, like this giant magpie mascot. We’ve also turned a friendly pelican into a child-friendly Pelican Playground Slide. 

Many of our bird sculptures can be mounted on a tall post, so they can be viewed from below (as you would normally see them in the wild). For example, see the Pelican on a Post, which looks great in waterside settings like cafes, playgrounds and parks. For an even more natural look, try mounting a life-size sculpture of a perching bird in a tree in your garden.

Custom designs and finishes

Natureworks can create completely new sculptures or customise our existing range. For instance, you may want an over-size sculpture for a promotion or entry statement, or a bird statue facing a different way. We can also use different finishes, such as custom colours or graphic effects, or add other mounting options. This will depend where you want to display the bird.
